UNIS Sweeps Two Wins At KMA 2026: Oh Yoona Returns in Stunning New Look
UNIS took home two trophies at KMA 2026 on July 25, winning the fan-voted Best Popular Female Group alongside the KM Favorite iKon award at Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium. The double win capped a night already charged with anticipation, as the group's red carpet arrival marked Oh Yoona's first appearance since stepping back from group activities for a seven-week health hiatus.
Red Carpet: A Distressed White Statement
Jin Hyeonju, Nana, Gehlee Danca, Kotoko, Bang Yunha, Elisia, Oh Yoona, and Lim Seowon arrived in individualized yet coordinated monochromatic punk-meets-grunge stage outfits with their names printed with smudged, black-and-white text and graphics, built around distressed, fitted corset tops and cropped tanks paired with frayed pleated mini skirts, chunky lace-up boots, and buckled belt accents running down the line. Rather than a glossy uniform look, each outfit carried its own texture, giving the set a raw, deconstructed streetwear edge.
Double Trophy Night
According to KMA 2026's Fans' Choice results announced July 24, UNIS was named winner of the Best Popular Female Group category, one of seven Fans' Choice honors decided entirely by fan vote. The group added the KM Favorite iKon trophy to that haul during the main ceremony, giving UNIS two wins on the night.

SWICY Arcade Remix and Elisia's Bilingual Thank You
On stage, UNIS reworked their 2025 title track "SWICY" into a high-energy arcade remix, building to an electrifying dance break. During the group's acceptance speech, Filipina member Elisia turned to address international fans directly. "Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa inyong mga nagmamahal at nagsusuporta para sa amin, palagi namin kayong mahal and thank you so much for everything, we love you!" she said, thanking the fandom in both English and Tagalog for their support.
The win streak arrives just days before UNIS' next milestone, their first Japanese mini album "UNI☆Sparkle!," due out July 31. With two new trophies in hand and Yoona back at full strength, the group heads into their Japanese debut with one of their biggest weeks of the year still ahead.
