UNIS Online Release Event Sells Out Three Rounds; "GimmeSummer☆ (JP Ver.)" Enters Genius Korea Chart at No. 16

UNIS has sold out all three rounds of online pre-selling for their debut mini-album UNI☆Sparkle!, with every bundle fully claimed during the August 10–12 application window. The milestone coincides with the group's entry onto the Genius Korea K-Japanese/K-Global Chart at No. 16 with "GimmeSummer☆ (JP Ver.)," as announced by Genius Korea on their X account on August 10, capping a rollout that has seen both sales and viewership climb steadily since the album's July 31 release.

Third Online Release Event Pre-Sales Sell Out Across All Three Rounds

After the first two pre-selling events for UNI☆Sparkle! online release participation sold out; a third round opened through the UNIS Japan Official Limited Store. The Part 2 signing set sold out almost as soon as the third pre-selling window opened, and the remaining Part 1 online private talk bundle (2-CD set, ¥5,500) has sold out a day after. With all three rounds fully sold out, the application window, which ran August 10–12, has seen every available bundle claimed, with shipping scheduled from late September.

Genius Korea Chart Entry and Prior Placements

The Genius Korea nod places UNIS alongside acts like KATSEYE, aespa, and ATEEZ on the July 2026 K-Japanese/K-Global Chart, with "GimmeSummer☆ (JP Ver.)" slotting in at No. 16. Before the chart placement, the two UNI☆Sparkle! singles had already been gaining traction: "GimmeSummer☆" reached No. 4 on the iTunes K-Pop chart in the Philippines and charted in Ireland, Luxembourg, and Italy. At the same time, "BBYBBY (Baby Baby)" climbed the upper ranks of multiple regional charts.

The group's official channel has surpassed 854,000 subscribers with more than 284 million cumulative views, with daily view counts climbing through early August. The "SWICY" music video alone has crossed 18.3 million views, posting steady daily gains in the weeks following the album's release. The August 8 rollout of an English version of "GimmeSummer☆" has further broadened its audience, building on the song's initial Japanese launch and making it accessible to listeners worldwide.

Final Day of Japan Promotions

August 11 marks the last of UNIS's UNI☆Sparkle! promotions in Japan. Fans who attended the group's performances had nothing but praise, highlighting the eight members' stage presence and the summer-themed setlist as standout moments of the rollout. With the Japanese promo cycle now closing, attention turns to where UNIS takes their growing global momentum next and the group's promise for an upcoming Korean comeback.
